the FEASTS of the LORD

The FEASTS of the LORD; the Bible KEYS to everything

Interpreting the Bible as YHWH God intended through the lens and Patterns shown to Moses on the Mountain; the Appointed Holy Times and Seasons given to as all by the ALMIGHTY CREATOR

We know that the Christian Church has denigrated the Feasts of YHWH God described in His TORAH Laws of Life and has thrown them on the garbage dump of religious history and has embraced the Pagan Feasts and the Holidays of Baal, the sungod as Replacement Doctrines to be celebrated annually instead of God’s Holy Days, His Calendar, His Seasons and His appointed times.

However YESHUA/JESUS, His Apostles and His little flock, in the face of great persecution by the Church, have faithfully kept God’s Holy Feasts throughout the last 20 Centuries. The Roman Catholic and Protestant Christian Churches have given themselves the authority to replace YHWH’s Holy Days and have enforced their edicts by the torture and murder of millions of Bible Feast keepers for nearly 20 centuries.

The result has been the twisted misinterpretation of the Bible by myriads of Pastors, Popes and Prelates by their teaching scripture through the obscuring and twisted lens of the Traditions and religious Doctrines of Men.

Dissenters and questioners of these Clerics teachings, historically, are met with shunning, excommunication, and arrest, along with torture and death sentences executed in the most barbaric ways imaginable.

What are the Feasts of YHWH God and why did He, along with YESHUA/JESUS declare them to be ETERNAL?

Exodus 12: prepare to leave Egypt

Yahweh spoke to Moshe and Aharon in the land of Egypt; he said, “You are to begin your calendar with this month; it will be the first month of the year for you. Speak to all the assembly of Isra’el and say, ‘On the tenth day of this month, each man is to take a lamb or kid for his family, one per household —except that if the household is too small for a whole lamb or kid, then he and his next-door neighbor should share one, dividing it in proportion to the number of people eating it. Your animal must be without defect; a male in its first year, and you may choose it from either the sheep or the goats. “‘You are to keep it until the fourteenth day of the month, and then the entire assembly of the community of Isra’el will slaughter it at dusk. They are to take some of the blood and smear it on the two sides and top of the doorframe at the entrance of the house in which they eat it. That night, they are to eat the meat, roasted in the fire; they are to eat it with matzah and maror. Don’t eat it raw or boiled, but roasted in the fire, with its head, the lower parts of its legs and its inner organs. Let nothing of it remain till morning; if any of it does remain, burn it up completely.

“‘Here is how you are to eat it: with your belt fastened, your shoes on your feet and your staff in your hand; and you are to eat it hurriedly. It is Yahweh’s Pesach [Passover]. For that night, I will pass through the land of Egypt and kill all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both men and animals; and I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt; I am Yahweh. The blood will serve you as a sign marking the houses where you are; when I see the blood, I will pass over [Hebrew: pasach] you — when I strike the land of Egypt, the death blow will not strike you.

“‘This will be a day for you to remember and celebrate as a festival to Yahweh; from generation to generation you are to celebrate it by a perpetual regulation.

“‘For seven days you are to eat matzah — on the first day remove the leaven from your houses. For whoever eats hametz [leavened bread] from the first to the seventh day is to be cut off from Isra’el. On the first and seventh days, you are to have an assembly set-aside for God. On these days no work is to be done, except what each must do to prepare his food; you may do only that. You are to observe the festival of matzah, for on this very day I brought your divisions out of the land of Egypt. Therefore, you are to observe this day from generation to generation by a perpetual regulation. From the evening of the fourteenth day of the first month until the evening of the twenty-first day, you are to eat matzah. During those seven days, no leaven is to be found in your houses. Whoever eats food with hametz in it is to be cut off from the community of Isra’el — it doesn’t matter whether he is a foreigner or a citizen of the land. Eat nothing with hametz in it. Wherever you live, eat matzah.’”

Then Moshe called for all the leaders of Isra’el and said, “Select and take lambs for your families, and slaughter the Pesach lamb. Take a bunch of hyssop leaves and dip it in the blood, which is in the basin, and smear it on the two sides and top of the doorframe. Then, none of you is to go out the door of his house until morning. For Yahweh will pass through to kill the Egyptians; but when he sees the blood on the top and on the two sides, Yahweh will pass over the door and will not allow the Slaughterer to enter your houses and kill you. You are to observe this as a law, you and your descendants forever.

“When you come to the land which Yahweh will give you, as he has promised, you are to observe this ceremony. When your children ask you, ‘What do you mean by this ceremony?’ say, ‘It is the sacrifice of Yahweh’s Pesach [Passover], because [Yahweh] passed over the houses of the people of Isra’el in Egypt, when he killed the Egyptians but spared our houses.’” The people of Isra’el bowed their heads and worshipped. Then the people of Isra’el went and did as Yahweh had ordered Moshe and Aharon — that is what they did.

Leviticus 23: THE DESIGNATED TIMES defined by YHWH God as HIS HOLY FEASTS

And Appointed Days and Seasons

Yahweh said to Moshe, “Tell the people of Isra’el: ‘the designated times of Yahweh which you are to proclaim as holy convocations are my designated times.

1 THE ETERNAL 7th DAY SABBATH (Begin HERE) in accordance with Genesis, chapter 2: 2-3

“‘Work is to be done on six days; but the seventh day is a Shabbat of complete rest, a holy convocation; you are not to do any kind of work; it is a Shabbat for Yahweh, even in your homes.

“‘These are the designated times of Yahweh, the holy convocations you are to proclaim at their designated times. THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT, the longest Commandment, is to confirm Genesis by a second witness!

2 PESACH/PASSOVER

“‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between sundown and complete darkness, comes Pesach for Yahweh.

3 SEVEN Days of UNLEAVENED BREAD

On the fifteenth day of the same month is the festival of matzah; for seven days you are to eat matzah. On the first day you are to have a holy convocation; don’t do any kind of ordinary work. Bring an offering made by fire to Yahweh for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work.’”

3.5   FIRSTFRUITS/SHEAVES

Yahweh said to Moshe, “Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘after you enter the land I am giving you and harvest its ripe crops, you are to bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the Cohen. He is to wave the sheaf before Yahweh, so that you will be accepted; the cohen is to wave it on the day after the Shabbat. On the day that you wave the sheaf, you are to offer a male lamb without defect, in its first year, as a burnt offering for Yahweh. Its grain offering is to be one gallon of fine flour mixed with olive oil, an offering made by fire to Yahweh as a fragrant aroma; its drink offering is to be of wine, one quart. You are not to eat bread, dried grain or fresh grain until the day you bring the offering for your God; this is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live.

4 SHAVU’OT [Pentecost]

“‘From the day after the day of rest — that is, from the day you bring the sheaf for waving — you are to count seven full weeks, until the day after the seventh week; you are to count fifty days; and then you are to present a new grain offering to Yahweh. You must bring bread from your homes for waving — two loaves made with one gallon of fine flour, baked with leaven — as firstfruits for Yahweh. Along with the bread, present seven lambs without defect one year old, one young bull and two rams; these will be a burnt offering for Yahweh, with their grain and drink offerings, an offering made by fire as a fragrant aroma for Yahweh. Offer one male goat as a sin offering and two male lambs one year old as a sacrifice of peace offerings. The cohen will wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before Yahweh, with the two lambs; these will be holy for Yahweh for the cohen. On the same day, you are to call a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work; this is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live.

“‘When you harvest the ripe crops produced in your land, don’t harvest all the way to the corners of your field, and don’t gather the ears of grain left by the harvesters; leave them for the poor and the foreigner; I am Yahweh your God.’”

5 YOM TERUAH, SHOFARS [TRUMPETS]

Yahweh said to Moshe, “Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘in the seventh month, the first of the month is to be for you a day of complete rest for remembering, a holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar. Do not do any kind of ordinary work, and bring an offering made by fire to Yahweh.’”

6 YOM KIPPUR [ATONEMENT]

Yahweh said to Moshe, “The tenth day of this seventh month is Yom-Kippur; you are to have a holy convocation, you are to deny yourselves, and you are to bring an offering made by fire to Yahweh. You are not to do any kind of work on that day, because it is Yom Kippur, to make atonement for you before Yahweh your God. Anyone who does not deny himself on that day is to be cut off from his people; and anyone who does any kind of work on that day; I will destroy from among his people. You are not to do any kind of work; it is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live. It will be for you a Shabbat of complete rest, and you are to deny yourselves; you are to rest on your Shabbat from evening the ninth day of the month until the following evening.”

7 SUKKOT, TABERNACLES, BOOTHS, MANGERS

Yahweh said to Moshe, “Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘on the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of Sukkot for seven days to Yahweh. On the first day there is to be a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work. For seven days you are to bring an offering made by fire to Yahweh; on the eighth day you are to have a holy convocation and bring an offering made by fire to Yahweh; it is a day of public assembly; do not do any kind of ordinary work.

“‘These are the designated times of Yahweh that you are to proclaim as holy convocations and bring an offering made by fire to Yahweh — a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, each on its own day —besides the Shabbats of Yahweh, your gifts, all your vows and all your voluntary offerings that you give to Yahweh.

“‘But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered the produce of the land, you are to observe the festival of Yahweh seven days; the first day is to be a complete rest and the eighth day is to be a complete rest. On the first day you are to take choice fruit, palm fronds, thick branches and river-willows, and celebrate in the presence of Yahweh your God for seven days. You are to observe it as a feast to Yahweh seven days in the year; it is a permanent regulation, generation after generation; keep it in the seventh month. You are to live in sukkot for seven days; every citizen of Isra’el is to live in a sukkah, so that generation after generation of you will know that I made the people of Isra’el live in sukkot when I brought them out of the land of Egypt; I am Yahweh your God.’”

Thus Moshe announced to the people of Isra’el the designated times of Yahweh. When he had finished speaking all these words to all Isra’el, 46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words of my testimony against you today, so that you can use them in charging your children to be careful to obey all the words of this Torah. For this is not a trivial matter for you; on the contrary, it is your life! Through it you will live long in the land you are crossing the Yarden to possess.

And YESHUA/JESUS said in defense of His Fathers Holy Appointed Times and Torah instructions for Life:

Matthew 5:17-20:

“Don’t even think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah — not until everything that must happen has happened. So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the Torah-teachers and P’rushim, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!”

There are three biblical feasts in the spring, one in the summer and three in the fall. The major events of the first coming of Yeshua (Jesus) occurred on the very dates of the spring holy days:

  • Pesach (Passover) – Crucifixion
  • Omer (Firstfruits) – Resurrection
  • Shavuot (Weeks) – Holy Spirit Baptism
  •

By the same biblical logic, we see a connection with the fall holy days to the major events of the second coming:

  • Yom Teruah (Trumpets) – Tribulation
  • Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) – Second Coming
  • Sukkot (Tabernacles) – Millennial Kingdom

As we celebrated the Feast of Trumpets we emphasized the prophetic meaning of the Trumpet judgments of Revelation, particularly the final proclamation that the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of Yeshua (Revelation 11:15).

On the Day of Atonement, we fasted, repented and thanked God for the atoning blood of Yeshua; we also declared our faith in His coming on the great and terrible day of the Lord (Joel 1:15, 2:1, 2:11) at the blast of the last great Shofar [trumpet] (Matthew 24:31, I Corinthians 15:52, I Thessalonians 4:16, Leviticus 25:9-10).

The Feast of Tabernacles is the culmination of all the biblical Holy Days and therefore represents the final stage of Yeshua’s plan of salvation. After the great war of the end times and the second coming of Yeshua (Zechariah 14:1-15), those who survive of all the nations will go up to Jerusalem to worship and celebrate the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles, Zechariah 14:16-21).

That celebration takes place in the millennial kingdom. There will be a Feast of Tabernacles in the Millennium. The Feast itself is a foreshadow of that kingdom. We need to practice now.

Deuteronomy 12:28-32 says:

Shomer [Obey] and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you le-olam-va-ed [forever], when you do that which is tov [good] and right in the sight of Yahweh your Elohim. When Yahweh your Elohim shall cut off the nations from before you, that you are going to possess, and you dispossess them, and dwell in their land; Guard yourself that you are not ensnared by following them, after they are destroyed from before you; and that you inquire not after their elohim, saying, how did these nations serve their elohim? Even so will I do too. You shall not do so to Yahweh your Elohim: for every abomination to Yahweh, that He hates, have they done to their elohim; for even their sons and their daughters they have burned in the fire to their [prosperity] elohim. Whatever I am commanding you, shomer [take care] to do it: you shall not add to it, nor take away from it [the Word].

No people ever reading the prophecy of the Revelation had more reason to believe that we may understand the Revelation in its fullness through the Feasts of the LORD. No people ever reading the Revelation have such reason to believe the time is at hand, as we have as we look at the Revelation TODAY.

The Passover feast of the Lord, the feasts of the First Month, are about Messiah’s first coming as Messiah Ben Joseph, the Suffering Servant, the Most Holy, the final and complete Sin Sacrifice, and the Paschal Lamb of YHWH God. The Son of YAHWEH was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, and He did that, as He said, “IT IS FINISHED’ on the Roman cross of Mithras Sol Invicta, the sungod of Rome. Alleluia Yeshua!

The feasts of the First Month, the Spring Feasts, are about Yeshua Messiah’s First Coming and the Feasts of the seventh month, the Fall Feasts, are about His Second Coming.
Yeshua Messiah’s first coming had been completed when John was given the REVELATION by our Savior. This revelation is about the feasts of the seventh month, the revelation regarding the Second Coming of Moshiach, the Lord Yeshua.

On the first day of the Seventh month, is the feast “that no man
knoweth the day or hour thereof, not even the angels”, the Feast of SHOFARS [Trumpets]. On that first day of the Seventh month, in the morning, the High Priest trimmed the lamps. Therefore, this Prophecy begins with a vision of one like the Son of man, in the High-Priest’s garments, appearing in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks, in the midst of them, trimming the lamps. He does this with what appeared like a rod of seven stars in his right hand: and this preparing of the lamps is done by the sending seven instructions to the Angels and/or the Shammash servant of the Messianic Congregations.

This world’s ways have brought only sorrow, suffering, chaos, and death! YAHWEH’S WAYS are the only ways that lead to Peace, lasting Prosperity, Happiness, Joy, and Eternal Life! If Baal is god, then go serve him, but if The ETERNAL YHWH is your ELOHIM, then SERVE HIM!

This is why I wrote this for you. This is the point:

When the Messiah was executed on the stake as a criminal, I was too, so that my proud ego no longer lives. But the Messiah lives in me, and the life I now live in my body I live by the same trusting faithfulness that the Son of God had, who loved me and gave himself up for me, (Galatians 2:20).

Philippians; And this is my prayer: that your love may more and more overflow in fullness of knowledge and depth of discernment, so that you will be able to determine what is best and thus be pure and without blame for the Day of the Messiah, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Yeshua the Messiah — to the glory and praise of YHWH God.

Omein.
